I graduated from NAIT in 1966 and have been practising in Edmonton since that time. It has been rewarding to see patients return time and again over the years as they have needed new dentures and also referring their friends and family to see us. Part of what makes our office stand out from other denture clinics is our large staff, enabling us to provide a consistent product all the time. As well, our office never closes for vacation – there is always a denturist in every day. I look forward to seeing our patients and keeping current with the new advances in technology for our business.
Blaine has been with A & B Denture Clinic since 2005 and had his own private practice, Triple A Denture Clinic, prior to that. He worked as a dental technician for 4 years before enrolling in the denture program at NAIT. He is an honors grad and double award winner within the profession. Blaine has 43 years of experience and looks forward to every challenge the day offers. After hours, I can be found with my family and grandchildren.
As the youngest addition to this team of veterans, I bring to the table a fresh new approach. My main focus is the pursuit of patient satisfaction. My proficiency and skills are to fabricate the best oral removable prosthetic appliances, be it complete and partial dentures, bruxism and anti-snore appliances or sports guards. My preferred area of practice, as well as field of concentration and strength, is in implant supported prosthetics. At A & B you can have it all: great fitting dentures, beautiful aesthetics, stability and functionality. I look forward to seeing you.
I have been the Office Manger here since 2004. I came here from a dental office background of several decades so it was an eye opening experience to see the other side of the denture process. Probably my favorite part of my job is being your primary contact with our office and ensuring your visits are a relaxing and comfortable experience. Over the years, I have acquired a vast amount of knowledge of the insurance field relative to our industry and with that I can assist you in making some of the financial decisions you will be looking at when you are here. I oversee the day to day running of the office and hopefully keep the front end in tune with the technical staff so we are always ready to see you for your appointments. After work, I can be found making cards, spending time with my family or watching the latest movies.
I have been at the A & B Denture Clinic for 4 years as the re-care coordinator and office assistant. It is important to ensure that your denture continues to function for you through the years, and reminding you to come in for your complimentary re-care is a big part of my day. I also assist in most aspects of the reception duties as needed and enjoy meeting with you when you first arrive through to helping you understand what to expect from your dentures when you are leaving. I also assist the technical staff as needed ensuring that all cases have the correct finish times and dates so we provide a seamless process for your dentures. My hobbies are gardening, enjoying my grandchildren and travelling.
I have been with A & B Denture Clinic for 29 years as the dental technician. I oversee all aspects of the fabrication of your dentures from start to finish. I enjoy taking the time to set up each case so it reflects each patients’ personality. Every case is unique, and I enjoy the differences in everyone’s smile, and at the end of the day – when the patient is smiling and happy with their denture – that is a reward in itself. I love my job and look forward to each day. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, sewing, traveling and working with my community.
I have been working at A & B Denture Clinic for 11 years as a dental technician. I assist in all the different stages of making your denture for you – from pouring up the first impressions we take, refining the wax set ups through to the trimming an polishing of your denture so it is ready for you when you come in for that final appointment. We all help the staff as needed when things get really busy. When I am not at work I love spending time with my family and grandchildren and watching movies.
